There are multiple outdoor sitting areas, hammocks, horseshoes and corn hole. If you feel like going for a hike, walk the 2-mile private road to view the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Piñon Flats has a wide variety of wildflowers, cacti, Piñon, Ponderosa and Juniper trees.
Walk the land the Ute Indians traveled for hunting and gathering to see Culturally Modified Trees used for marking routes and sun positions as verified by a local archaeologist.
