Stress Management Wellness for All Ages
A family-friendly springtime wellness day, focusing on managing stress through nutrition, movement, massage, and nature will take place Saturday, April 20th, at The Pines Ranch. The event is designed to include activities for all ages with ten classes scheduled during the 10:00am-2:00pm open house-style event.
Attendees can expect to be treated to a variety of mini classes and presentations, conversations with holistic practitioners, cooking demonstrations and an all-day mini farmer’s market, designed to provide community members with a network of local healthy resources.
The day’s agenda will also include children’s activities such as arts and crafts, kid’s yoga, a miniature donkey experience, and outdoor games as weather permits. For even more fun, a cupcake decorating contest and a stress ball making class are also a part of the planned offerings, with on-site massages available, as well.
Co-sponsored by The Pines Ranch, West Custer County Library and Wellness Day Coordinator, Rosi Blaesius, this is the second in a series of quarterly wellness events designed to empower people to improve their health and wellness.
“The Pines Ranch has been known as a place to restore health and well-being since the early 1900’s,” said Director, Tracey Schlafer, “and that purpose continues to this day as we strive to be known as the ‘Wellness Center of the Rockies’ with holistic wellness in mind.”
