Redwing Ranch serves as a hub for hands-on education. Through seasonal workshops, immersive training weekends, and land-based events, we help connect people to place while equipping land stewards with the practical skills needed to manage rangelands in a changing world.
Redwing Ranch is a 4,000-acre, woman-owned and operated working cattle ranch in Southern Colorado’s Huerfano County, nestled along the eastern flank of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Rooted in regenerative grazing, ecological stewardship, and rural community, Redwing blends traditional ranching with forward-thinking land management to support both healthy ecosystems and thriving livestock.
Whether it’s a day spent learning chainsaw operation, a weekend building grazing plans, or a community meal shared around the fire, our work is rooted in resilience, creativity, and care for the land.
