Christmas Parade & Full Day of Events

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” And this year on December 2, the Valley Strong team invites you and your loved ones to celebrate the start of a cozy, winter season with us in a variety of events all day for the entire family.

Start your Saturday at Hope Lutheran’s Lange Hall, and get some Christmas shopping done early while supporting local, handmade artists at the Friends of the Library Craft Show from 9am to 5pm. In the afternoon before the parade starts, Santa will be available for visits and pictures at Silver Cliff Community Park from 1pm-4pm. The Christmas Parade, featuring a variety of local entries, will begin at 4:30pm and will travel down Main Street, beginning at the school and ending at the Bluff. After the parade we can gather at Jess Price Park for the annual Tree Lighting at dusk, followed by a reading of “A Christmas Carol” at the Historic Jones Theater.
