High Altitude Horsepower Car Show

Held annually on Labor Day Saturday.  Join Us for the 2026 High Altitude Horsepower Car Show…

Come enjoy an incredible display of classic, antique, vintage, rat rod, and hot rod cars along Main Street in Westcliffe — all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Join fellow car enthusiasts in exploring our charming rural mountain town. Don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite cars! There will be Cash Prize Drawings + Best in Show and People’s Choice Awards.

The event is packed with fun for the whole family, with food, music, and entertainment available throughout the day. Proceeds to help support West Custer County Library’s Mobile Outreach Efforts.

Registration opens April 1st, 2026 with online or mail-in registration available here. Day-of show registration begins at 7:00 AM.

• $30 for advance purchase
• $40 for day-of show
• $15 for any additional vehicle(s)
