Beckwith March Madness Murder Mystery
March 25 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
$42
Join us for a unique Murder Mystery Experience at the Historic Beckwith Ranch. In 1907, Senator Elton T. Beckwith mysteriously “fell” out of a second story window at the Beckwith mansion. He died several days later in Word’s Sanitarium in Pueblo. Speculations ran wild. Few actually believed he accidentally fell out the window. Some believed he was pushed out the window! Some guessed that the ride to Pueblo finished him off. There was even speculation that he was poisoned. But no one was ever charged and this cold case remains unsolved…until now!
Guests will be given the unique opportunity to question all of the possible suspects and determine whether it really was an accident or a murder. We will have the possible suspects on hand to interrogate including his wife Mrs. Beckwith, his daughter Velma, the nurse, the maid, the doctor, and the ranch foreman all portrayed by our expert docents.
Refreshments including wine, beer, tea and Rocky Mountain Soda will be served with hors d’oeuvres and a special dessert to end the evening. Form your own team or investigate on your own. After 116 years, it is time we settled this famous mystery once and for all. (or, maybe until next year.)
This is an Adult Only Event with Prepaid Reservations accepted until March 22nd. Call: 719-371-3249/303-589-3575
